"A good idea is about ten percent and implementation and hard work, and luck is 90 percent." - Guy Kawasaki
Join us in March as we hear from Charles Wyke-Smith, Vice President of Strategy at Charleston based PeopleMatter as he explains the steps to building a startup company.
They started with a market need, assembled a team, raised some money, built a web application and took it to market; and that's just the start. They're still building, still growing, and looking to add to their team.
How do you take a great idea and build it into a multi-million dollar company? Wyke-Smith and the founders of PeopleMatter developed a long list of lessons learned from assembling their team and raising seven million dollars to build their great idea into PeopleMatter in Charleston, SC. PeopleMatter was recently listed #14 on a list of the fastest growing Technology Companies on Venture Beat and they will be talking about the launch of their company at our learning lunch.
